Wash & Care :
Gloves and Boots
Maintain your product in optimal condition (Leather gear – Gloves and Boots)
As motorcycle apparel differs from other sportswear, the washing and maintenance guidelines are also distinct. Just adhere to the steps below to keep your gear clean and ready for the next ride.
- Undo all the velcros, buckles and buttons. Shake off any surface dirt.
- Use a damp cloth to wipe the gloves and/or boots.
- Loosen the dirt with a soft-bristled brush and diluted detergent. Now is also a good time to clean those nasty spots if any. Check for areas where dirt seems to be stuck. Do not forget to clean the sole of the boots.
- If the inside of the gloves/boots is too dirty, only then proceed with washing it in lukewarm water with a very mild shampoo. Use a soft brush to clean the insides if needed. Rinse until the water runs clean.
- Use a thick gsm towel or absorbent papers to speed up the drying process for the insides of the gloves and/or boots. We recommend wearing them in between the drying process to avoid shape deformation.
- Gloves/boots are best dried in shade. Do not tumble dry or wring the gear. Do not bleach or expose to direct sunlight.
- Skip for textile gloves. Once the gear is dry, proceed with using a good quality fabric conditioner. Apply a little amount on a cloth and use that cloth to condition the leathers thoroughly.
