- “R2R – From RACE to ROAD” Performance, technology, premium design: The R2R–from Race to Road.The KYT R2R is the new sport helmet, infused with racing DNA in an everyday-riding package. Outstanding aerodynamics, huge field of vision, excellent airflow, with an internal sun visor, the R2R is the perfect helmet to face the roads sun-up to sun-down with complete safety and KYT quality. The design blueprint of the R2R is almost the same as that of the KX 1 Race, resulting in similar performance with regards to field of view and aerodynamics., the R2R blends the comfort of a touring helmet with the lightweight and low drag coefficient of a performance helmet, keeping the rider relaxed on long rides. Dripping with style and modern design elements, as good as the R2R looks, you may forget you’re even wearing a helmet due to its natural fit and comfort.Your riding buddies and onlookers will not though. The R2R, while mild-mannered at heart, possesses an aggressive silhouette that commands attention.
- HOMOLOGATION
The helmet comes with ECE 22.05, and ISI certification.
- SHELL
Shell produced in ADT-advanced, a mix of thermoplastic resins with high resistance to crashes. R2R shell is produced in two sizes: M and L.
- PROTECTIVE POLYSTYRENE
Internal polystyrene liner realized in two sizes (M and L) to obtain a better ergonomics and a variable density. This characteristic allows a gradual and progressive absorption of the energy produced by the impact.
- VISOR
The visor of R2R is PC injected, antiscratch, optic in class 1 with variable thickness combined with Pinlock Max Vision ready and Sun Visor. The hooks and rotation system allows the visor removal without tools.
- VENTILATION
Internal Polystyrene liner was studied to work in symbiosis with the air intake on the external shell. Particular channelings, obtained on polystyrene, allow to air flow intake an optimal ventilation into the helmet and a quickly exhaust of the hot air.
- INNERS
The cheek pads and the internal comfort shell can be removed, washed and replaced. They are made of precious bielastic fabric with specific fibers coupled with sponges with open cells for the best air flow in order to keep fresh and dry.
- RETENTION SYSTEM
The retention system used is the ‘Double D-RING’ in light alloy.
